The information here is provided as a service for health care providers to provide relevant pharmacological and clinical information about CVT-E002 the active ingredient of COLD-FX®. It is considered important for health care professionals to have access to full information regarding natural health products which their patients may be taking.

Each capsule of COLD-FX has been certified by ChemBioPrint® to contain 200 mg of CVT-E002, a unique proprietary aqueous extract containing greater than 80% poly-furanosyl-pyranosyl-saccharides from Panax quinquefolius (North American ginseng, root).

COLD-FX is officially indicated in Canada to help reduce the frequency, severity and duration of cold and flu symptoms by boosting the immune system. It has a product license and a product number (NPN 80002849).

COLD-FX is a standardized ChemBioPrint product.
