DOSING & PATIENT PROFILE
COLD-FX 200mg BID Recommend as daily defence throughout cold and flu season (September to May) to decrease the frequency, severity and duration of colds and flu.
COLD-FX EXTRA 300mg BID Recommend throughout the cold and flu season (September to May) to decrease the frequency, severity and duration of colds and flu. COLD-FX EXTRA is commonly used when patients are feeling run down or will be in contact with groups of people.
CLINICAL CLAIM
COLD-FX is officially indicated in Canada to help reduce the frequency, severity and duration of cold and flu by boosting the immune system. It has a product license and a product number (NPN 80002849 for COLD-FX and NPN for 80015586 for COLD-FX EXTRA).
SAFETY PROFILE & CAUTIONS
All relevant safety information has been submitted and approved under COLD-FX NPN 80002849 and COLD-FX EXTRA NPN 80015586 . Included in each submission is safety data from clinical trials, toxicology studies, interaction studies and previous marketing experience.

Individuals requiring anti-coagulant therapy such as warfarin should avoid the use of COLD-FX.

Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Not recommended for individuals with impaired liver or renal function.

As COLD-FX is a derivative of North American ginseng, individuals with known allergies to ginseng should avoid use of COLD-FX.
